Life’s Got Its Own Waiting Room Too, Let Us Learn To Sit In It!

What a powerful word from Isaiah 40:31. It says that, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Nobody likes to wait especially in this microwavable world that we live in today. Waiting seems to take so much out of us, and yet Waiting is there to draw something from within us. Only if we can change our perception that in order to sustain the weight of life, we must learn to be still and wait, for that’s where our strength is renewed.

I recently learned the tactic an Eagle uses during a storm. They would fly into it and uses its wind to rise higher. In order to reach higher without using their energy, they would use the pressure of the storm to get there. We are to be like an Eagle who uses life’s storms for our good and still maintain our strength. Like scripture says, we shall run and not be weary, we shall walk and not faint because we learn to sit and wait in God’s waiting room.

I encourage you beloved to embrace the waiting process. Yes, it is painful; yes, it is uncomfortable; and yes, it seems useless, and it goes against our human flesh. Simply trust God’s word, and put Him to the test. You have nothing to lose but all to gain. You will discover new perspectives; new strength; new strategies; new abilities; and new victories. Beloved, be still and wait, it’s for your own good!
