Hi. I’m Geralda, but you can call me lady Aldah. I am a proud mother and wife, I am passionate about God, music, and life in general. Thanks for visiting!

The unfolding of your Words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130

From the blog

THE ETERNAL WORD

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.  John 1:1-5

“The book of John reveals to us that the Word is infinite; the Word was present since the very beginning in operation with God; the Word was the person of God; nothing was made without the Word; life was in the Word & that life was light to shine in our world of darkness.  The book of John also reveals to us that the Word was and is Jesus since Genesis.  So then, if the Word is Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, isn’t that good enough?  Why are we searching for more? Why do we misinterpret God’s Word so it can fit our lives?  Why do we still live like we’re lost and continue to use God’s grace as an opportunity for the flesh?”

Your Words were found, and I ate them, and your Words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16

About Me

I’m Geralda Rodney, blessed to be the mother of two beautiful souls and blessed to be married to a man who pursues God’s heart.

Over the years, I have served as a Property Manager, Weight Loss Consultant, Preschool Teacher, and Children’s Ministry Director. Today, I am a freelance Interpreter, a Real Estate Agent, a Gift Designer, a classically trained singer, a worshipper, and, above all, a woman who is simply God’s work in progress.

When I’m not spending time with my wonderful family, I enjoy writing about God and life, writing and singing songs, designing meaningful gifts, and pursuing a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” This is one of the most profound promises found in God’s Word.

I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. It wasn’t a perfect home, but it was a home centered on the Word of God. As we grow older, it can sometimes seem as though the prayers of our parents and grandparents, along with the influence of a Christian upbringing, begin to lose their impact. I believe this is part of God’s plan—to bring us to a place where our faith becomes personal and we learn to stand spiritually on our own.

Even so, I can never underestimate the power of a praying parent or grandparent.

Today, I find myself doing the very same thing as a parent, especially with my adult children. I can no longer parent them as I did when they were young, but I can continue to influence them through a God-fearing life, unconditional love, and faithful prayer.

Losing my mother at the age of seventeen marked the beginning of a journey filled with uncertainty, questions, confusion, and frustration. Yet through every season, God never allowed me to wander too far from Him. He orchestrated every experience with such incredible precision that, looking back, I can clearly see He was with me every step of the way—even when I wasn’t aware of His presence.

That is when I truly began to understand the power of Proverbs 22:6. I could not depart from my first Love. How could I? No matter how far I thought I had drifted, He was always there, patiently drawing me back to Himself.

It was then that I realized the immeasurable power of God’s Word.

That realization inspired me to boldly declare that God’s Word Is Good Enough! It is our foundation, our guide, and our hope. As Jesus declared, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

And it really is that simple.
