A heart after God’s heart!

May your heart seek after God’s heart just as:

  1. ENOCH in Genesis chapter 5, who maintained a close daily walk with God and when he was no more God took him. He was known as the man who pleased God.
  2. NOAH in Genesis chapter 6, who obeyed the Lord no matter what. He was known as a Righteous man, blameless among the people in his time.
  3. JOB who repented and trusted God. After all of his loss, grief, deep anger and sorrow he endured, he listened to the Lord’s rebuke, he humbly turned from his sins and trusted God with his whole heart. He was known as the man God tested.
  4. ABRAHAM in Genesis chapter 22, who believed that God can do anything. His name was changed from Abram to Abraham which means the father of multitude. He was called the father of faith.
  5. JOSEPH in Genesis chapter 37, who trusted that God was always with him. He trusted God when he was sold into slavery; he trusted God when he was thrown into prison; he trusted God when he was promoted to Egypt’s supreme leader. He was known as a man of integrity, and forgiveness.
  6. JOHN, the youngest of the 12 apostles of Jesus-Christ. John lived a full life in love with the Savior. He was the author of John, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and Revelation. He was called the apostle of love because he deeply loved Jesus.

The Bible has countless of men and women whose hearts were after God’s heart, beloved. When was the last time you checked your heart? No, no, no not by the doctor beloved! Just a simple check by you…
