The book of Ruth is a beautiful demonstration of what it means to be faithful. Ruth married into a family who were from another country, then lost her husband, father and brother in-law. But yet, she was faithful to her mother in-law, and decided to stay with her, although she was free to go back home to her family. She embraced her new life, she was a loyal servant, and in return, Ruth found favor from God, and redeemed her in due season.
This story confirms that those who remain faithful, and continue to serve with a humble, loving , joyful heart without murmuring, they will find favor in God’s eyes.
The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge. Ruth 2:12
